Hello, Fellow ICTE friend!

We hope this summer finds you refreshed and well.

We write to inform you of a summer learning opportunity around the work of one of our wonderful keynote speakers for our Fall 2021 conference, Sara K. Ahmed. We know that Iowa English teachers are facing a bit of an unknown around classroom conversations due to new legislation and Department of Education guidance, and Sara’s book, Being the Change, is bound to help us further our understanding of classroom conversations that matter. Discussing it with other teachers can help us make the learning practical and help shape the learning WE will need at our fall conference.
