Danae Dieken, Teacher Writer
Danae Dieken is a 9th grade English teacher at Holmes Junior High School in Cedar Falls. Determined to find magic where the world is dismisses it, she writes plays with her students, frequently discusses “sticking it to man,” and shows far too many pictures of her dog, Maple Syrup. Danae came to teaching by the way of coaching speech and working in communications at John Deere.
