IWP’s Bearing Witness Monthly Writing Series

The second session of the Bearing Witness series starts this Saturday. There is still time to join us!

Bearing Witness is a monthly Iowa Writing Project meetup for educators who want to pause, write, and reflect during unprecedented times. This gathering creates intentional space for teachers to put words to the moment—capturing the realities of our classrooms, our communities, and the wider world as it unfolds around us.

Bearing Witness honors writing as both personal practice and public record. Together, we write to remember, to make meaning, and to preserve the stories of this moment—for ourselves, for our students, and for the future.
